Snowhotel guests:
If you arrive after 15:00 please go up to the restaurant to check-in.
We have warm, thermal sleeping bags for all guests.
Sleeping bag demonstration at dinner.
There is access to toilets/wardrobe in basement, and Nikel lounge on 2. floor for snowhotel guests.
Restaurant open from 15:00 (in weekends also 10-14)
If you need assistance in the afternoon, our restaurant staff will be more than happy to help you.
Dinner is served 19:00 | Menu: chef`s choice of arctic meat or fish.
Please tell us in advance if you have any allergies or dietary requests.
Breakfast 08:30-09:30
Sauna 1st floor Låven Restaurant. Sauna is open from 06:00 to 09:00 for Snowhotel guests. Other than that, please let us know at breakfast or reception when you want to take a sauna, and we'll put on the timer.
Luggage service:
From reception to cabin on arrival > Available 12:00 or 14:00.
From cabin to reception on departure > Available 09:30 or 11:00.
NB! Must be booked in advance, in reception or in restaurant.
Parking: Free for all of our guests outside the gate by the reception or along the road, meaning that you must drive your car out again to park - you may not park overnight by your cabin or inside the area, thank you for your consideration.
Our Winter Park:
Snowhotel opening hours 10:00-14:00 and other times on request. Ask the restaurant for the possibility of a drink in the ice bar after or before dinner.
Dogyard: Visiting the huskies in our dog yard is available between 08:00 – 16:00, while we have our mushers working.

Snowhotel:
Upon arrival, we will transfer the luggage to the luggage room, ground floor of the main building. You will have access to it. Valuables can be stored in your mini-locker.
Gamme Cabin:
We will put the luggage on your cabin stairs.
If moving from Snowhotel to cabin: We will move your bags from the luggage room to the cabin.
Or vice versa.
Remember to leave your tag on.
Departure:
Luggage will be picked up at 08:30 and 11:30. Your bags must be packed and ready, and put in the luggage room/outside your cabin by then. All luggage must be securely packed for transfer.
Please bring hand luggage with laptops/fragile items yourself.
Cabins room service
Between 10:00 –16:00
Dear guest! We care about the environment, so we will not fully clean every day, only tidy and restock the cabin. We are in the wild, so supply of hot water is not endless - please consider when showering.
Keep towels on the rack if no wash needed, leave on floor otherwise.

Puppy Walk 09:00 - 09:45
Our host will pick you up after breakfast to go for a refreshing walk along the fjord, with the company of one or more husky puppies. You know what they say? Puppies extends life expectancy!

What to do when you are here:
In your stay breakfast and dinner is included, and you may also buy lunch and drinks in the restaurant.
Except from relaxing in your cosy cabin, there are lots of things you can do here.
First of all, try one of our many excursions!
Second, take part in our Snowfun programme!
Other than that, you can also go snowhiking.
If the weather does not invite to an excursion, there are also some options. You can visit Kirkenes town, a 15 minutes` drive from us. There are several shopping malls and cosy cafés.
We also have souvenirs for sale in Bingen and Gabba restaurant.
Snow hiking
There are mainly two separate routes:
1. Past the Restaurant building and follow the track by the fjord.
2. Go up on the mountain, on the path on your left, on the road, about a 100 metres before your arrive at our reception.
We have Snowshoes outside your cabin, which you may borrow, and also cross country skies by Gabba

How to dress in winter
Even though we dress our excursion guests in warm and protective clothing, you should always
pack warm winter clothes. Always wear several layers of warm clothing for the cold winter days.
