HOW TO TRAVEL TO KIRKENES
BY PLANE
Kirkenes is so far yet so close. Only 2 hours away with a direct flight from Oslo, you can fly here from most destinations in Europe in one day. SAS and Norwegian have direct flights every day, and there is also a connection via Tromsø with Widerøe.
BY BOAT
Hurtigruten and Havila make stops in Kirkenes almost every day. It is possible to travel all the way from Bergen, or jump on in Tromsø.
BY BUS
There are also flights from several European cities to Rovaniemi and Ivalo in Finland, and there is a bus connection further to Kirkenes. The distance is 3 hours from Ivalo and 6 hours from Rovaniemi.
